Our company specializes in the production of cast iron, ductile iron, galvanised mild steel, stainless steel and reinforced pre-cast concrete drainage & sewer products.
Job Description / Tasks:
- Daily receipting - 11 companies with 24 bank accounts and 7 credit cards
- Monthly reconciliation of bank feeds - 11 companies with 24 bank accounts and 7 credit cards
- Debt collection - chasing customer for payment dated, updating directors twice a week for meeting with managing director, reviewing at risk customers and liaising with EC credit control with debt collections proceedings
- Assist creating credit and processing the credits once approved and liaising with customers of application of credit to invoices
- Sales Reports - sending of monthly sales report to Director for review
- Reviewing non-operating company’s entries to confirm they are correct, and balances are accurate.
- Making monthly credit card payments to suppliers
- Assisting with payroll approvals when required (back up)
- Creating purchase orders when required
Requirements:
· 3 to 5 years bookkeeping experience
· 1 year experience using Xero Accounting Software
· Experience in bank and balance sheet reconciliations
· intermediate skills using Ms Office – esp. Microsoft Excel.
